Here is one of the rarest scabbards we know of. One was actually made, how many more is uncertain, if any. Patented October 30, 1945, the application was submitted April 27, 1945 by Major M.C. Pratt of the Chicago Quartermaster Corps. Too close to the end of the war for production. We  have looked for one for some time but this is like looking for that needle in a haystack. The Patent is reproduced for you reading pleasure. The photo was supplied to us by our good friend Charlie Flick. It is a photo from the National Archives on the testing we would presume.
