We don't really know all the story on this one but they do seem to pop up from time to time. The knife itself is an Italian made reproduction blade stamped "U.S. M3" deeply and well executed. The Winchester Logo is etched following the stamping. Most often seen in an M8 type scabbard we have also seen them in reproduction M6 leather scabbards. Usually sold as "Rare" or "Prototype" it may be both but it is not a World War Two made knife, it is also a fantasy piece.
