Doc Brunner researched this the old fashioned way, he studied the records at the National Archives, spoke with OSS veterans, of which he is one, tracked down leads and photographed actual weapons. Many of the records now declassified are due to the efforts of Doc Brunner. The Archives calls John when they have a question on the OSS.
